Daniel has over six years of collective experience in residential and commercial real estate in New York City, Atlanta, and the Gulf Coast of Alabama.
What he brings to the table is a wide range of high-level real estate services and an objective approach to creating successful deals for the clients he represents. Real estate is a very personal business, and he believes the relationship must always come before the transaction. Daniel's sharp digital marketing skills help him bring special properties into the spotlight, and he possesses a passion for creating new relationships and solving problems.
Education
Daniel's real estate career began at The University of Alabama in the Culverhouse College of Business, where he earned a specialization in Real Estate, learning the foundational principles of real estate financing, appraisal, and property management. Daniel developed an interest in brokerage early on and joined various real estate organizations during his undergraduate studies. Daniel is currently continuing his education by pursuing the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member).
Work Experience
Before Daniel was a licensed salesperson, he provided digital marketing services to local brokers in the Tuscaloosa market and learned the residential sales business through the lens of a marketer. Once he earned his license, Daniel began right away in sales at Pritchett-Moore Real Estate and later took on the management of 40-unit multifamily complex for the property management branch of his company.
After graduation, Daniel returned to Atlanta to advance his real estate career with The Hanover Company, a private real estate firm based in Houston. He quickly rose to the ranks of top leaser at a 348-unit luxury apartment high-rise in the heart of Buckhead Village.
In New York, Daniel works alongside top-producing broker Mike Lubin in the Upper West Side office. "Having Mike as my mentor, a broker with over a decade of experience and incredible attention to detail is a tremendous ongoing learning experience for me. I'm very fortunate to have such an inspiring friend and colleague. . ." says Mr. Whitworth, "I learn something new every day, valuable lessons that I can pass along to our clients." Mike and Daniel were proudly named "BHS Team of the Year" in 2020.

Personal Life
Daniel enjoys spending time at his Magnolia Springs cottage with his wife Sunny, a Bridal Stylist and Wedding Planner, and their two cats, Felix and Chunk. Daniel was born in Atlanta, Georgia and later relocated with his family to the Gulf Coast of Alabama as a teenager. His parents are proud owners of an independent boat dealership in Orange Beach, Alabama, where Daniel also assists with business development and property management. Some of Daniel's other passions include visual arts, live music, guitar and piano, fashion, cooking, classic cars and boats, and exploring the city and the coast with his wife.
